A picture of Philip Huckin

Philip Huckin

Philip Huckin came to live in Wales in 2010 after a career in Education. He studied for a degree in Art and History at the University College of Wales Aberystwyth in the 1970s and returned to his old university to study for an MA in Visual Art in 2010. Central to his work is the Ceredigion landscape, the hills, ruins and beautiful coastline, which is a constant source of inspiration. He has also collaborated with a Welsh author and poet to produce three books that seek to promote the history of the landscape through its archaeology, history and legends, for adults and children. Philip has work in Welsh National Collections, including the National Library of Wales and the MOMA Machynlleth Gallery. His work is also to be found in British and International collections.
